Just for curiosity... In reality, product name of Firefox *is* randomized over its user base. For example this is detection code for one version of Firefox on web traffic analysis service: <pattern>^Mozilla/5\.0 \(.*\) Gecko/.*(Firefox|BonEcho)/2\.0\.0\.4</pattern> <pattern>^Mozilla/5\.0 \(.*\) Gecko/.* (Butt|Fire|Free|Hidden|...|Sun|...|Thunder|Turbo|Water|Web)(aardvark|adder|...|bird|...|worm|yak|zebra)/2\.0\.0\.4</pattern> // "..." stands for really long list of variants provided by // Firesomething extension <pattern negative="1">^Mozilla/5\.0 \(.*\) Gecko/.*(Sun|Thunder)bird/</pattern> <pattern negative="1">Madfox/|Galeon|Epiphany|Flock|Firescape|Iceweasel|Navigator</pattern> best regards -- Adam Hauner Projekt CZilla http://www.czilla.cz/ - http://start.czilla.cz/ http://firefox.czilla.cz/ - http://thunderbird.czilla.cz/ _______________________________________________ dev-tech-layout mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-tech-layout
