Following up on Jasons arguments for telemetry from a previous thread
about getting perf-data on mobile, I started to consider using
telemetry-code to capture time-data in microbenchmarks instead of the JS
timers. I added a section about this in

I hope I've been able to describe my motivation for this on the wiki -
feel free to ask and suggest clarifications. In particular, there is a
pro/con list for each approach - add to this list or correct me if I'm
wrong in any of my arguments. And of course, if the whole idea is not
feasible for some reason, please let me know... ;)
