Seems reasonable to update these tentatively in JIRA... but I hope 1.6.0 is out before the end of March.
I would say that the the 1.4.5 release will probably not benefit from 1.5.1's lessons learned much, though. A lot of work went into simplifying/automating the release process in 1.5.0 that I have no intention of replicating for 1.4.5. It may be that it would be a minimal effort to do that, but my guess is that the release processes between 1.4.5 and 1.5.1 will be very different. -- Christopher L Tubbs II http://gravatar.com/ctubbsii On Mon, Feb 24, 2014 at 7:42 PM, Sean Busbey <[email protected]> wrote: > Right now, Jira lists the following scheduled release dates: > > * 1.5.1 : 2013-07-24 > * 1.4.5 : 2013-10-31 > * 1.6.0 : 2013-11-24 > > I'd like to update these to reflect when we currently think things are > likely to complete. > > Here's my WAG: > > * 1.5.1 : 2014-02-28 > * 1.4.5 : 2014-03-19 > * 1.6.0 : 2014-05-29 > > My reasoning: > > * 1.5.1 RC2 failed due to a miscommunication, RC3 is unlikely to have issues > * AFAIK, 1.4.5 still needs to go through most of the long run tests and > that will take time.
