The download page(s) fail to include any MD5 or SHA1 hashes.
One or both of these should be provided.
The page says:
bq. It is essential that you verify the integrity of the downloaded files using
the PGP or MD5 signatures.
This is slightly inaccurate. PGP is a signature whereas MD5 and SHA1 are hashes.
