Download page lists lots of releases; they are not in order and most of the
pages point to the wrong location
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: AMQ-3784
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-3784
Project: ActiveMQ
Issue Type: Bug
Environment: http://activemq.apache.org/download.html
Reporter: Sebb
The page is quite confusing; why do I need a list of all releases?
The Latest release - 5.5.1 - does not appear in the "All Releases" section.
The versions are not in numerical order.
Also the main page mentions SNAPSHOTS; only official releases may be promoted
to users.
Snapshots have not be voted on, and should only be made available to developers
who should be informed that such builds come with no guarantees.
The same applies to promotion of Maven SNAPSHOT repos.
Furthermore, most of the linked download pages seem to point to mirrors,
however old releases are only available on the archive site.
