IMHO we should move this discussion to the dev-list, with the following:
i - use cases
ii - required changes.
iii - how it's being implemented on the PR.
when I read these changes I don't have a clue if the 3 points here are
being covered, and what performance implications (or even stability) to other
regular queue cases.
