They should be removed but probably needs to wait until a 7.0 release
for something like that. I guess it depends if anyone is actually
using them, if not, then we could delete them earlier. They may be in
such a broken state that it's not possible to use UDP anyways and if
that is the case I think it's fine to remove before a major version.
