Chathuri Wimalasena commented on AIRAVATA-1242:
-----------------------------------------------

For experiment, we have states like CREATED, VALIDATED, SCHEDULED, LAUNCHED,
EXECUTING, CANCELING, CANCELED, COMPLETED, FAILED, UNKNOWN. Which states should
we restrict ? Is it only LAUNCHED, EXECUTING and COMPLETED ? What about
experiments with CANCELING, CANCELED, FAILED and UNKNOWN ? Should we allow to
update experiments with those statuses ?

> Experiments should not be updated through API after they are launched

> Experiments should not be updated by through the API by the gateway after
> they are launched. Experiments can be updated internally. If a gateway
> wants to resubmit an experiment, it should clone it.
