Marlon Pierce commented on AIRAVATA-1242:
-----------------------------------------
Good points. Definitely the API should not allow updates to an Experiment in
states SCHEDULED, LAUNCHED, EXECUTING, CANCELING, or, COMPLETED.
CANCELED, FAILED, and UNKNOWN should be editable again through the API. In
this case something happened but the end user can possibly fix it by editing
some of the inputs.
> Experiments should not be updated through API after they are launched

> Experiments should not be updated by through the API by the gateway after
> they are launched. Experiments can be updated internally. If a gateway
> wants to resubmit an experiment, it should clone it.
