Summary: User trying to exists a page without saving the record,
should be prompted with a confirmation.

While entering experiment detail record if the user accidentally clicks on one
of the top menu items user will be navigated to the new page; no questions
asked.
This way user will loose the infromation entered in the previous page.
It would be better if the user is prompted with a message when in middle of a
action.
Suggestion: confirmation message to the user
"Your changes will be lost. Do you want to Save?" and provide with buttons Yes
& No.
Yes: To save the record and exist
No: Values will be cleared and not saved and exist the page as well
Cancel: Just closes the pormpted message and user is back in the page with the
values entered
