Based on the provided information I did find this under "breaking changes":

 . But it doesn't link to any JIRA or AIP

It's a bit of a shame as they are great features. And breaking them up the 
permissions in to editable and read-only, or giving users access to SELECT only 
views that are parametrized so they only contain DAGs the user has permission 
for, would seem to solve security concerns? But I appreciate it's a lot of work.
