Hello Ebrima, Welcome to our community !
I just sent a message to devlist to ask committers to invite committers to become mentors - hopefully we can get some feedback soon. For now - this issue is about the UI and I believe part of it is already implemented (but not all) . Since you are interested in the UI part - maybe some committers who are more familiar with that part can help to guide you and choose either this or similar issue that might make sense to work on. I am personally a little familiar with this part - but hopefully we will find some help here. Ebrima - while you are waiting for the answer - I would really encourage you to take a look at the https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.rst document - read it carefully and maybe even setup the environment . Apart from the technical details, there is also a lot of information about the "soft" part of our community - how to create PRs, how to communicate, which channels to use for what. I think most of the follow-up discussion can happen on Slack for now I believe (I saw that you joined there as well - good!). There is a dedicated #gsoc channel that you can use for communication about all things GSOC! And you can also read it to understand what you can expect from the community members, the fact that our communication is deeply asynchronous and sometimes you have to be a little patient and considerate to get an answer etc. etc. This is a really important document to read (and it has pointers to more detailed documents when you get to actual development and testing cycle). Looking forward to your GSOC contributions. J. On Sat, Feb 29, 2020 at 4:50 PM Ebrima Jallow <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello, > > My Name is Ebrima Jallow.
