Provider release cycle is almost monthly.
The released version can be major, minor, patch... It depends on what PRs
were merged during the month.
To clarify - removing deprecated features will ALWAYS be in major release.
The policy I'm asking to set is just about when we should remove the
deprecated code.

As for your pointers I'd like to mention that the provider's goal was to
"move" more quickly.
The policy I'm asking to set just defines the minimum time - it doesn't
mean that we will always go with the minimum.
