> An additional question. I am not really sure if fits to ask in this
mail-list, so my apologies if I’m wrong.

- Is there any group/list of Airflow developers open for
cooperation? Huawei will lack expertise on Airflow related questions.

I think there are such groups/individuals.

And I would not want to endorse anyone or any companies here, but I guess
anyone who sees the message might reach out to you privately seeing your
question - either individually or in the name of a company - but this is
not a discussion for this list :D.

Side comment: The ASF is perfectly fine to build your business models
(either by individuals or as companies) from the expert knowledge and
helping companies to build their business on top of Airflow - for example
by building the integrations (I believe it happened in case of Great
Expectations). Such cooperation should be done according to the rules and
with the boundaries of the Apache Software Foundation policies (for example
none of the contracts can promise that any code or feature will be added to
Airflow - only community can decide it)

One more side comment. I started to wonder if US restrictions towards
Huawei (

might somehow limit the options we have here (Apache Software Foundation is
governed by US laws as it is a Delaware 501c3 US - based company). I do not
think so, but I am not a lawyer, nor know anything about US law - so I
asked it in "legal-discuss" JIRA in
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-623. As a PMC member I need to
make sure what we do is legal, so I prefer to be safe than sorry here.
