I did some review of AIP-70
(https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/AIRFLOW/%5BDRAFT%5D+AIP-70+Make+Use+of+Asynchronous+Programming+in+Core+Components),
and explained some motivation behind the change. I'm mostly interested in
incorporating concurrent programming into the core components (shielded from
the end user) to get the optimizations it may bring, especially to the
scheduler.

Would be glad to hear any feedback from the scheduler developers regarding the
points I provided in the AIP and whether you consider them sustained.

Thank you.
