Our rest api endpoints for git/hg/svn need to be cleaned up. Currently they
are too simplistic (svn isn't even hooked up).
Our RAML api documentation should be updated as well. It might be easier to
update the RAML first to ensure a consistant and reusable interface that can
then be implemented in code.
