[~jluniya][~sumitmohanty][~afernandez], need your input and guidance on how to
move the JIRA forward. We would like to start working on this ASAP, but we
need consensus from the community on the approach. Beside the design doc,
Juan also submitted the patch of the proof of concept he did for the Zookeeper
common service. If you can take a look at both and give feedback, we would
appreciate very much. Jayush also mentioned that there are other parallel
effort, if you have the JIRAs, please let us know as well.
