Hi,

I have a few questions about the join community page and community governance.

You have a concept of Active Contributor. This is a little unusual in ASF
projects, and reading the description, it sounds a little more like a committer
than a contributor. In general, contributors are not listed on ASF websites.
There is nothing that says you can't do this, but it would need to be updated
frequently.

Under Committer, you mention subprojects. What subproject does Amoro have?

I put in a PR that removes the "two PMC" approval. The committers and PMC
members must be voted on using the standard ASF process.

Under PMC, you mention they can merge branches. At the ASF, all committers can
do this.

I also note that you seem to have a very high committer bar and focus only on
code contributions. People can become committers for all sorts of
contributions, not only code.

You also mention e-certificates and hand them to active contributors. It would
be good to review these certificates and make sure there are no branding or
trademark issues. Who has access to the system to generate these?

Kind Regards,
Justin
