Hi,

Thanks a lot for pushing forward the page improvement!
The community guidelines on the page are rules before the project enters
the ASF Incubator. I believe they should be readjusted to meet ASF
requirements.

Here are my thoughts about some questions:

> You have a concept of Active Contributor. This is a little unusual in ASF
projects, and reading the description, it sounds a little more like a
committer than a contributor. In general, contributors are not listed on
ASF websites. There is nothing that says you can't do this, but it would
need to be updated frequently.

Active contributor is not a common role in the ASF project, maybe we should
drop it from the page.

> Under Committer, you mention subprojects. What subproject does Amoro have?

Amoro does not have any subproject, for now, we should delete the content
here.

> Under PMC, you mention they can merge branches. At the ASF, all
committers can do this.

Yes, we should delete this description too.

> I also note that you seem to have a very high committer bar and focus
only on code contributions. People can become committers for all sorts of
contributions, not only code.

Maybe we can discuss a more suitable committer bar together.

> You also mention e-certificates and hand them to active contributors. It
would be good to review these certificates and make sure there are no
branding or trademark issues. Who has access to the system to generate
these?

This is a rule before the project enters the ASF Incubator. At this stage,
I believe it should be removed.
