Difference to my solution is only that youŽre setting the append- and prepend reader to null. But that donŽt work on my machine :-(
But I donŽt get the error while deleting the append- or prepend file. I get the error while deleting the resulting file. But if I add a "super.close()" IŽll get other errors ... But I have changed the code according to your modifications. So it should pass on linux (a little progress).
