For 1.1.4 you are right. But that was only an SDK example. In the current development version there is an official component OOoBean which can be used as a base class for applicaton beans. Ans the original question seemed to be for this version.
I'm sorry. I'm upgrading to OO 2 because I really do not get the OfficeBean Examples in 1.1.4 deployed. I'm currently checking "all" from CVS bevause I still don't know in which package the complete SDK is... (odk and api do seem to have only parts, respectively, and I can find no build of the new SDK).
Does this "official component" use the transparent class loader? Where can I get information on that?
