Is there a complete specification for the OOo Basic language?

There are so many historic flavors of Basic that it is difficult to tell what is supported in OOo. I'm not looking for incomplete guides like Mr. Pitonyak's Useful Macro Infomation, but a complete language specification.

By book is far more complete than my free macro document, which was primarily meant as a set of examples.

While writing my book, I determined a lot of behavior by reading the source code. I devote a lot of time to exploring the Basic implementation and I also determined numerous keywords not documented by reading the source code. I am rather certain, however, that things are always changing so there are probably already new keywords that have been added - at least I think that I noticed a few new ones last time I took a look at the source code.

You mention the "Type" keyword. I document this on page 29 in Chapter 2 of my book.

The book was created by Sun to describe the OOo Basic language, is very well written and freely available. I found some errors, but I was not aware at the time that I could document them and that Sun would fix them <drat>. For the most part, I found the document very good. I did not read the latest version, which perhaps has better coverage on the language structure itself.

I recommend that you take a look at the latest Sun Basic book and check out my book (not my free document)...
