Berend,

I already had some problems to install and use your previous version on Window XP and OO 2.03, and now we run agaibn into the problems On Windows XP and OO 2.04. We endup with an instaled package with a toolbar named "UNO object" but with disabled buttoms for manupilating a Text-Frame ????
Maybe i did something wrong (did the instalation with a opened Text-doc) ??
Can you fix this bugy or can you explain how we can maualy link toobar-butombs to your very interesting package ?

Thanks anyhow for the work and time you spend to make a tool who is a greath for non professional UNO-coders :-)

A new Version of the Object Inspector is available at

(I know, it's still the deprecated .pkg extension format...)

The major difference to the last version is that I added some functionality to generate Java - Sourcecode that is needed to instantiate Uno-Objects. An enhancement to generate C++ or OpenOffice.org Basic Source Code (and probably for other languages) will follow soon.

This is a short description of what the Object Inspector is about:

The Object Inspector is an OpenOffice.org extension that is to help the developer to inspect arbitrary Uno-Objects. As Uno provides a service-oriented API with abstract service descriptions exporting defined interfaces the capabilities of a Uno Object does not open up to the developer at design time mainly due to several „deficiencies“.
The Object Inspector is still under development.
