I think there may be some ambiguity in this title, and I need to clarify a few points: 1. The purpose of this email is to discuss the recommendation of using apisix-base as the runtime going forward. 2. We will no longer recommend or maintain the use of openresty as the runtime (removing CI and adding documentation to reflect this). 3. Sure, apisix-base is still based on openresty, but from the perspective of APISIX, there is no longer a need to concern ourselves with openresty.
