In general, look at the SVN commits before/after a tag to see what file (s)
need to be changed. The script takes care of the rest :)

make sure you do not have Operating System / pacakger modified
versions of autotools in your path -- grab a fresh copy from source,
install to a custom prefix and set your PATH so they are used when
running release.sh.
