These are probably related. I think our current habits are good, but
maybe they need to be written down :)

Honestly, I don't care about this any more, as long as it is
consistent, can be checked in checkstyle, can be formatted in Eclipse,
IDEA and NetBeans.
The things I do care about:
- spaces, not tabs
- 4 spaces for Java
- 2 spaces for XML
- 120 column wrap, not 80.
- wrap on spaces, not on '.' in a method call

2. Voting Process
I think we pretty much follow the Apache guidelines here, so we can
stick to that. May be worth documenting some things specifically though.
So, who wants to start a "how we do things" page on the site that we
can grow over time? :)
I can start writing this up :-)
