Well, it was never designed that way.
I see no reason why you would not allow other notations then UML, since they
have become a project-wide setting - but maybe you have good reasons.
I guess, if you really want this, it would be best to use the
OperationNotationUml.parseOperation() directly. This function is public
since it is used in a unit-test directly (not a good practise, I know, but
it simplifies the test).
However, this may create some new dependencies.
Another way to go, a bit more work, would be to create a specific
ListRendererOperationNotationUml, similar to OperationNotationUml, for which
you simply do not create a Java, cpp,... equivalent.
Then you would call:
NotationProvider4 np = NotationProviderFactory2
.getInstance().getNotationProvider(
NotationProviderFactory2.TYPE_LIST_RENDERER_OPERATION,
value);
