Yeah, sorry - I did not want to restart that discussion again. I will
simply keep marking property panel issues as won't fix when it comes to
requests to provide more detailed name strings. I really do not see a
value to include a Property Panel notation, with the side effect that I
suddenly would have to write a parse routine for that particular
notation because someone decides to enter text in the class diagram or
somewhere else.
I just want to reiterate my view that ArgoUML should deal with UML and
code generators with specific languages/notations/transformations.

Because a NotationProvider provides the notation in the language
selected in the project.
If you change notation language for the current project, then
everything on the diagram changes (as far as implemented :-( ), so why
should the property panels not follow the changed language?

IMHO it should.
Markus, I know we had a similar discussion before, in which you
proposed to have only UML notation. I do respect this opinion.
However, since the new notation architecture is based on having
multiple languages, and making multiple languages easy, I would
appreciate it if this feature remains available.

I guess, if you really want this, it would be best to use the
OperationNotationUml.parseOperation() directly. This function is
public since it is used in a unit-test directly (not a good
practise, I know, but it simplifies the test).
However, this may create some new dependencies.
Another way to go, a bit more work, would be to create a specific
ListRendererOperationNotationUml, similar to OperationNotationUml,
for which you simply do not create a Java, cpp,... equivalent.
Then you would call:

.getInstance().getNotationProvider(
