Hello Tom!

Ok. I understand. It is the pointing towards University of California that
is the problem.

One of the reasons that I think this is so problematic is that "the ArgoUML
team" is a little unclear as an organization. I have always thought that
this would need some formal organization to do this.

Are you saying by this that no formal organization is needed to do this? If
so, then lets do this change now. We just need to agree that "The ArgoUML
Team" is the phrase to use for the copyright holder.
