Argo, as I see it, is a loose coupling of developers, not a company. We don't have any real money, can't write or pay invoices etc. As you can read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ArgoUML the project has not much manpower. :-) I don't think, collab.net has some dedicated pc standing around for Argo. I guess we are talking about a server farm with lots of redundancy (from cpu over storage to connectivity). And most important: 24/7 administration. We cannot pay this, we cannot hire the folks to run this. We don't even have a phone number to call, when problems occur. I have a few servers now, but I think we are talking about a completely different level, when it comes to Argo hosting. As I see it, collab.net is the best option for Argo at the moment.
