That fixed it, thanks!
Ran into another issue: on a new machine (a VM) that didn't have the
Java JRE installed, the ArgoUML installer downloaded the JRE, but then
exited without doing anything.

I think I have fixed it now.
I have a problem with my computer so I am not able to test the
java web start installation. That is the reason I didn't spot this
earlier. I guess it has been a problem for several releases.
Could you please test again?

FYI, there's something wrong with the Java Web
Start version. I get:
