Hi Jan, Yes, I created a document icon for windows, which you will find here:
http://argouml.tigris.org/svn/argouml/trunk/src/argouml-app/src/bin/ArgoUMLdoc.ico However, this was based on the document icons that windows uses, and was designed to fit well alongside those icons. I've not studied MacOS icons, but it may be appropriate to make a slightly different looking icon for MacOS. I basically did a screen print in Windows XP while a window was showing an icon for another application, then modified the image, adding the argo logo to create the ArgoUMLdoc.ico.
