zlib shared linking patch -- arrow 0.11.0 vs 0.11.1?

Hi Arrow developers,
  I need to grab the patch for ARROW-3128 (support system shared 
zlib)<https://github.com/apache/arrow/commit/65154c9bb302f39bfedd265d1989ea9f5fe1db61>.
  I need to obtain the code from an official release.  The release notes state 
that patch was added in 0.11.0.
  However I see there's a more recent version 0.11.1, but with no release 
notes.  Plus no info on 0.11.1 is listed on arrow.apache.org.
  Am I safe to get this patch from the 0.11.0 release in early October?
