Ok, I have been out of commission for the better part of three days,
and I am now on the mend. I'm back at work, so I am also back here.
(I am about 89% recovery, so it is enough to follow what's going on).
I wanted to see if I missed anything the past three days.
LogKit:
-------
Release is scheduled for Monday, no problems with any votes. We
are all in agreement on RC7--the exact binaries that are going to
be used for LogKit 1.2 final release.
Framework:
----------
* A series of documentation touch ups--where are we with this?
* Proposal to split classes into implementation and interface
Jars.
- I originally misinterpreted this as persuing something like
what Peter did for the A5 proposal directory (moving
implementations into a separate package).
- With the misunderstanding cleared up, do we do this now?
+ I would like the old JAR to be kept for those who want
to use it.
+ We need to document what the new JARs are and how they
would be used--i.e. informing our users.
+ If this can all be done and validated in about a week or
two (at the most) then lets go for it. Otherwise, let's
hold off till the next release.
Anything else on the table that I overlooked?
