sounds great . playing or using alpha code like Merlin it is clear that things may/will change.
it is much nicer to have such a tag to which I can fall back and a Milestone release also sounds like that everythings compiles, all tests run through etc.
with this you also have a kind of a cut, like finishing of a refactoring or something like this. and finally it is much easier to decide when I can switch to a new build.
