i18n dep - question

In the Merlin CLI handler you added thje following comment:

     //ResourceManager.clearResourceCache();
     // -- This is not in the released version of I18N

Which has me a touch confussed. The 1.0 relase is dated 30 Jan. 2003. The CVS records show that the clearResourceCache() operation was added 31-AUG-2002. Can you confirm if we need to kick out a 1.1 of i18n or not.
