With a bit of luck I could bribe a passenger to give up a ticket, explain the situation to the airline management ("local death in the family sort of thing), get bumped to first (because the girl who sold me the ticket was sweet on me for some reason or another), locate a taxi driver who knows you personally (or at least has contacts), and arrive at your place before midnight.
What do you think ... is it a plan?
