There is no permanent damage, but I am looking forward to several months of chiropractic therapy, including two types of traction. To tell the truth, even after my first visit I can tell a difference. I am much more lucid today than I was yesterday. Still hurts though.
Anyway, I included that info merely so you can understand if something didn't quite make sense--not so much to elicit sympathy. Thank you for your well wishes, though. They are very much appreciated.
