I've just nearly finished an eclipse plugin for merlin development.

Debugging and some wizzards are already working fine. I will refine the
things a bit and than deloy it if anybody is interested in.

I think there are more than a couple of people interested! As soon as you have something I would love to take a look.

So if you need more ideas of eclipse internals - maybe I can help you.

I'm also working on an hibernate integration through the context feature
of merlin. This really looks fine. My idea here is, to offer different
contexts for each application layer, so that a good layering of the
application architecture is supported.

This is exactly what I wanted to enable. You have made my day!

Cheers, Steve.

Right now I'm just on vacation :-) but if you have any ideas... I'll
think about.

All the best

Super!
What I have in the back of my head is one controller class and a bunch
of different embeddors that all use the same controller.

I'm currently reading jboss source to understand the deployer :)

I'm also ready to dig the Eclipse pluging path (if required).

Maybe a skeleton could be interesting - i.e. the some bootstrap suff to
link into Eclipse - and then we add out internal spells!

of course!
