Sorry, Steve. You can't push everyone here to contribute with one specific
thing. Or maybe you can but you end up alone here.

One specific thing may not be achievable, however, there is a large amount
of
common behaviour in any container implementation that should be shared
between
them.
I would not like to see the fractious events of the past revisited. (And
this is
the important bit of my reply. Note the reference to MonthyPython "Life of
Brian"
below.) Let's not go down this path again.
Perhaps then you chould add another item to the vision:
- respecting the views of all developers in the community and working to
accommodate these in the single vision (perhaps a big ask).
I believe that there is much opportunity for sharing implementations so
let's
work towards this.
