(Bottom line is of course that since you're ASF as well, there's absolutely nothing that stops you from just taking the code.) But... Yes. Definitely. I'm personally dependant on Cocoon and is betting a lot of business on it, so I promise you that I'll do whatever I can should such a thing be requested. Now, I'm also considering porting Cocoon to this new wonderful architecture, if it turns out as great as I expect it to.
