Ok, so the plan is to first move/copy the package and then perhaps
change it to reflect merlin's needs, right? I understand.
What do you think of deprecating the excalibur version. It's not
maintained anyway and gives the users a clear statement.

And plese also do this for excalibur-logger (my current favorite).
