Yes well characterized term: Component Certification.

We can then search enable a repo so queries for certified components can
occur.  Also these flags on a component can also be used to find instances
of the service in a registry.  There was a nice diagram of the repo and 
Registry role that Stephen had put up a while back.  I'll post it if I can 
find it in a couple of minutes - otherwise use your imagination.
