Is this something the entire avalon PMC likes? What do the board and the members say? I mean, what about concerns as expressed, for example, in

and similar ones recently on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list (and others parts of the ASF)? I really don't feel much like battling that kind of mindset.
