At €0.72/GB, that 15-20TB will cost you less than €14,400,
which, for banks, pretty much amount to a round-off error.

(Also consider that it means that you just have to make a
profit of €0.00000072 per transaction to cover the costs.)


Seriously, though, I have found it easier to put in the 
container:

 1. The ability to uniquely name each component.

 2. Nothing more.

And then build the failover/distribution on top of that,
customized for the application. As long as I can route
events/requests to the corresponding components in
other JVMs, failover etc. isn't that hard.
