I'm just in the last testings of transparent object persistence in Merlin.
Right now the plug-in is build on Hibernate - so you can take any database you like and all the features like connection pooling, object level transactions etc.
Just add a @persistent tag to a java class - MerlinDeveloper will do the
rest for you.
I'm looking for testers :-)
