How are you hosting HSQL though? Is the database started up in Merlin or running standalone in it's own process.
I'd like a Merlin block that launches HSQL in server mode. I know there was one for Phoenix. I think it might be in the hsqldb CVS now but I wanted to check here first.
It's a Melrin block that launches HSQL in server mode.
I basically took Peter's old Phoenix block, refactored it and got it running under HSQL 1.7.2, which included to submission of a patch to the HSQL project since the guys over there had broke the server connection handler interface during the course of their 1.7.2 overhaul of HSQL.
Works great -- just like the old Phoenix block!
