Thanks [~mtth]! I think this looks good. Could you open this as a pull request
against the Avro github repo? The patch doesn't have the contents of the binary
files, which I'll need to commit this. Once I have that, I'll run the tests
locally and try the build scripts to make sure it all works and then commit.
