Suraj, There are further comments on this JIRA https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AVRO-1885 to include additional patches in the release. It looks like the patch-merge process is really slow in Avro. But It would good to pick the patches raised by other users in the JIRA. Can we do a cut with those patches in.
