Nice investigation, that looks promising. I do not have ownership on the Avro
namespace, so it could be the issue. Thanks for the work!
I have no objection if you try the tarball with the modification -- in the best
case, it works and the 1.10.0 release on CPAN contains a minor packaging
modification that is not on git's branch-1.10 or release-1.10.0 tag. Since
nobody is using CPAN yet for Avro, I don't think it is a big deal to make this
exception (the alternative is doing a new patch release for every try?)
